"I found it quite provocative. And it left me with profound thoughts about my own weaknesses.                 Emile Pail Sayegh, Esq.

Eight years ago I was inspired to produce my first documentary, The Ancient Church, which turned out to be more rewarding than anything else I had done. All proceeds (and it raised a lot of money) went to a priests' retirement fund. A couple of professors asked for permission to use it in their educational programs. Several churches use it as a missionary tool to share the history of the Church. I even had a guy email me that he saw it on YouTube and became an Orthodox Christian!
A little over four years ago I was again inspired by a book called The Mountain of Silence about the monks in Mount Athos, Greece. I discovered a concept they called Logosmoi - thought attacks - that we humans are under

24 hours a day. I researched the subject for four years, and wrote the script for The War Within. The filming and editing went rather quickly. Fortunately, I am happy to say, this is one of the best things I have ever done. Not only an eye opener to the battles we face daily, but it introduces humanity to a new reality that haunts all of us. Becoming aware of the war within we can defeat it and live better lives.
